Material List: Based on 18” square pillow
• Qty 1 – 18” Square ready-made pillow or create your pillow with fabric yardage (1 yd.)
• Front side fabric: 13” x 39” ( muslin or light colored solid or print to show quilting & if adding color with Crayola Crayons or Inktense Pencils or Prismacolor Pencils or Fabric Paint or some of each.
• Batting: 20” x 42” 100% cotton, lays flat so glasses won’t tip over. Polyester batting is too fluffy.
• Back side of fabric: 20” x 42” I like to use printed fabric to go with theme on front & if quilting lettering blends in since lettering on back is backwards.
• Binding: 1/8 yd 42” width fabric 100% cotton
• Pillow Wrap Closure: I like Plastic Snaps so as not to scratch furniture when using as Table Runner. https://kamsnaps.com/collections/kam-snap-pliers/...
• Quilting patterns used from: https://www.mycreativestitches.net/winter-placema...

How to measure fabric for pillows:
I piece a number of fabrics for backing separated by a strip of 2.5”. Or if using the same fabric load a larger piece of fabric.
Let’s get started!
*Load you backing as if was a quilt. – Lay batting on backing fabric. – Lay pillow wrap fabric on batting and baste fabric edges. Load your quilting patterns.
My choice of quilting patterns for this project.
