My customer's mother enjoyed embroidering so much that she bought sets of stamped embroidery blocks for each of her children and grandchildren. For the last 25 years she's been finishing sets and passing them to her daughter or daughter-in-laws, who have featured these blocks in a quilt for the special recipient. I've loved helping my customer with these quilts, and I recently finished three for her - one with dahlias for a special Aunt, and two with red heart blocks.
I finished one of the quilts with
West Wind, and I was thrilled to try out your new Lucky Hearts pattern on the second two, they both worked great! My customer has come to appreciate my quilting so much that she used a solid red backing on the second set of red heart blocks to better see the quilting. And she has decided to give the first set of red heart blocks to her brother and keep the second set for herself! She shared that now she is energized to complete more projects, because she is so happy with our results!!
From Christy & Christy Jr. - We love this story because it shows how quilting is shared by multiple generations and can be imbued with so much unique personality. We love that so many of these quilting treasures are going to your customer's family and are thrilled to play a small part in that. Thanks for this great story Pam!
