Mayflower Sashing and/or border pattern is designed at 2.5 x 1.1 in height and width (5.8 cm x 12.7 cm). Mayflower Corner is 2.5 x 2.5 in height and width (5.8 cm x 5.8 cm).
This pattern was inspired by the earliest known whole cloth quilt in an American museum collection, known as the Mayflower Quilt, circa 1635! The quilt is held by the Lovely Lane Museum in Baltimore, Maryland (http://www.lovelylanemuseum.org/).
Remember that the smaller you make the pattern the smaller the stitch length needs to be to get a true curve on your pattern.
